ORDINANCE NO. 010795

 

Authorizing execution of a $100,000.00 contract with HNTB Corporation for professional planning services for the Bartle Hall Expansion and Downtown Study, generally defined by 12th Street on the north, Truman Road and 16th Street on the south, Broadway Avenue on the west and Oak Street on the east.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of the Department of City Development is hereby authorized, on behalf of the City, to execute a contract with HNTB Corporation, in an amount not to exceed $100,000.00, for professional planning services for the Bartle Hall Expansion and Downtown Study, generally defined by 12th Street on the north, Truman Road and 16th Street on the south, Broadway Avenue on the west and Oak Street on the east, to be paid from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 02-100-064-2355-B, Bartle Hall/Downtown Plan. A copy of the contract, in substantial form, is attached hereto and is hereby approved.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
