ORDINANCE NO. 940639

Authorizing the Director of Health to enter into an agreement with Hospital Hill Health Services Corporation whereby it will provide an emergency physician to serve as emergency medical director for one year beginning May 1, 1994, for which the City will provide $82,580.00 in previously appropriated funds.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the agreement between the City of Kansas City, Missouri, acting through its Director of Health, and the Hospital Hill Health Services Corporation (HHHSC), acting through its Executive Director, whereby HHHSC will provide a qualified emergency physician to act as emergency medical director for a period of one year beginning May 1, 1994, is hereby accepted and approved. A copy of the agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

Section 2. That the Director of Health is hereby authorized to expend for such services a sum not to exceed $82,580.00 from funds appropriated in Account No. 95-100-050-1140B by Ordinance No. 940326.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
