ORDINANCE NO. 060311

 

Authorizing a $919,945.00 contract Amendment No. 2 with Holzman Moss Architecture for Project No. 89A00281; authorizing the City Manager to expend $919,945.00 from previously appropriated funds; and declaring the Citys intent to reimburse itself from KCMAC 2006A-2 Music Hall Fund Bonds.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized, on behalf of the City, to execute a $919,945.00 contract Amendment No. 2 with Holzman Moss Architecture for Project No 89A00281 for additional architectural services for the Kansas City Music Hall Renovation Project. A copy of the amendment is on file in the Capital Improvements Management Office.

 

Section 2. That the City Manager is authorized to expend up to the amount of $919,945.00 from funds previously appropriated to the following account:

 

AL-3425-898022-B-89A00291 Music Hall Renovation Fund $919,945.00

 

Section. 3. That the City declares its intent to reimburse itself for certain expenditures made within sixty (60) days prior to or on an after the date of this ordinance with respect to Music Hall Renovation Project with the proceeds of bonds expected to be issued by the City. The maximum principal amount of bonds to be issued for the Music Hall Renovation Project is not to exceed $16,000,000.00. This constitutes a declaration of official intent under Treasury Regulations 1-150-2.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
