ORDINANCE NO. 900812

Authorizing an Air Cargo Study by Midwest Research Institute at KCI Airport and the expenditure of previously appropriated funds.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Acting Director of Aviation is hereby

authorized to execute an agreement with Midwest Research Institute to conduct a survey of air cargo users and potential users in the Kansas City International Airport cargo service region. A copy of the agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk.

Section 2. That the Acting Director of Aviation is hereby

authorized to expend the following amount from funds heretofore appropriated to the Kansas City Airports Fund (819-90000-B) for the study:

$61,500.00 for Air Cargo Study

Section 3. That the terms, conditions, privileges, and

obligations as set forth in the agreement are hereby approved.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise

unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
