ORDINANCE NO. 981377

 

Accepting and approving a one year $23,483.00 contract with the Missouri Department of Health to provide funding for a WIC/Immunization Linkage program; increasing revenue in the amount of $1,514.00; and appropriating it to the 98-WIC Nutritional Program account.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That a contract between the City of Kansas City, Missouri, acting through its Director of Health, and the Missouri Department of Health, acting through its Director of Administration, whereby the State will provide funding for a WIC/Immunization Linkage program for the period of October 1, 1998 through September 30, 1999, for an amount not to exceed $23,483.00, is hereby accepted and approved. A copy of the contract, in substantial form, is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

 

Section 2. That the revenue in the following account of the General Fund is hereby increased by the following amount:

 

99-100-050-7325 99-IAP WIC $1,514.00

 

Section 3. That the sum of $1,514.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund in the following account in the General Fund:

 

99-100-050-2125-A 98-WIC Nutritional Program $1,514.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
