ORDINANCE NO. 951501

Re-estimating the revenue in Account No. 92-373-012-6000 in the amount of $15,530.00; and in Account No. 93-374-012-6000 in the amount of $151,835.00; appropriating the sum of $15,530.00 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Zoo Improvement Bond Series 1992 Fund to Account No. 96-373-070-7553T; appropriating the sum of $151,835.00 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Zoo Improvement Bond Series 1993 Fund to Account No. 96-374-070-7553T; designating the Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners as the requisitioning authority for said accounts; and recognizing an emergency.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the revenue in the following accounts of the Zoo Improvement Bond Series 1992 and 1993 Funds are hereby re-estimated in the following additional amounts:

92-373-012-6000 Interest on Investments $ 15,530.00 93-374-012-6000 Interest on Investments 151,835.00 Total $167,365.00

Section 2. That the sum of $15,530.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Zoo Improvement Bond Series 1992 Fund to the following account in the Zoo Improvement Bond Series 1992 Fund:

96-373-070-7553-T New Zoo Capital Construction $ 15,530.00

Section 3. That the sum of $151,835.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Zoo Improvement Bond Series 1993 Fund to the following account in the Zoo Improvement Bond Series 1993 Fund:

96-374-070-7553-T New Zoo Capital Construction $151,835.00

Section 4. That the Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners is hereby designated as the requisitioning authority for Account Nos. 96-374-070-7553 and 96-373-070-7553.

Section 5. This ordinance, making provision for the current expense of municipal government, is recognized as an emergency under Article II, Section 15 of the Charter of Kansas City and shall take effect immediately upon passage.
