ORDINANCE NO. 140046

 

Authorizing the Director of Water Services to enter into an Amendment to the Stakeholder Contribution Agreement with the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) in support of the Missouri River Degradation Feasibility Cost Share Agreement between MARC and the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers; and authorizing an increased expenditure of $167,300.00.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Water Services is authorized to execute an Amendment to the Stakeholder Contribution Agreement with MARC in support of the Missouri River Degradation Feasibility Cost Share Agreement between MARC and the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers..

Section 2. That the Amendment to the Stakeholder Cooperative Agreement will be funded in the amount of $167,300.00 with funds previously appropriated as follows:

14-8010-807710-B-60800003 MO River Degradation Feasibility $ 55,767.00

14-8110-807726-B-60810005 MO River Degradation Feasibility 55,767.00

14-8200-802331-B-60820001 MO River Degradation Feasibility 55,766.00

TOTAL $167,300.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
