RESOLUTION NO. 120477

Honoring Sarah Cecil as a Rich Noll Pacesetter for May, 2012.

WHEREAS, the Rich Noll Pacesetter Award has been established to honor City employees who provide excellent service to the citizens of Kansas City, Missouri; and

WHEREAS, the Rich Noll Pacesetter Award is named after Rich Noll, who worked for the City of Kansas City in a variety of capacities over his 26 year career and always exemplified the best attributes of City government in those capacities including customer service, responsiveness, timeliness and teamwork; and

WHEREAS, Sarah Cecil works in the Housing and Human Services Division in the Neighborhoods and Housing Services Department; and

WHEREAS, Sarah has a great attitude, is incredibly proficient and quickly resolves all issues presented to her; and

WHEREAS, Sarah has an extremely high level of customer service by not only calling contractors and sending e-mails but doing follow-up if the contractors fail to respond to any questions or problems arising out of the weatherization work; and

WHEREAS, Sarah is always extremely helpful in the coordination of work to be done and resolution of daily issues and usually has a problem resolved within a 48 hour time period; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

That the Mayor and Council hereby recognize Sarah Cecil as a Rich Noll Pacesetter for the month of May, 2012; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be spread upon the Minutes of the Council in testimony thereof and that a copy hereof be presented to Sarah Cecil with the thanks of the Mayor and Council for his dedication and service to the citizens of Kansas City, Missouri.
