Authorizing a $129,900.00
First Amendment to Agreement No. 960032 with Rafael Architects, Inc., for
engineering services in connection with the Avenida De Cesar Chavez streets
improvements and authorizing the Director of Public Works to expend $129,900.00
for the project.
BE IT ORDAINED BY
THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That
the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into and execute, on
behalf of the City, a $129,900.00 First Amendment to Agreement No. 960032 with
Rafael Architects, Inc., essentially in the form attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference, relating to engineering services in
connection with the Avenida De Cesar Chavez streets improvements, in Kansas
City, Missouri, Council District 4, Project No. 2632, to be completed in two
phases:
Phase I: Final
Design Services
Phase II: Construction
Observation
Section 2. That
the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend the sum of
$129,900.00 from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 03-100-089-7224-T
for the aforesaid First Amendment to Agreement No. 960032.

I hereby certify
that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the
appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash
balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund
from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby
incurred.
