ORDINANCE NO. 900763

 

Authorizing the Director of Finance to extend the lease agreement with Clay County, Missouri, whereby the City will lease 700 square feet of space in the Clay County Courthouse Annex building located at 1901 Northeast 48th Street for another year beginning January 1, 1991, at the rate of $4.50 per square foot per year for the purposes of providing conveniently located City services to area citizens.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to extend and continue the lease agreement with Clay County, Missouri, whereby the City will lease 700 square feet of space in the Clay County Courthouse Annex building located at 1901 Northeast 48th Street, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, for another period of one year beginning January 1, 1991, at the rate of $4.50 per square foot per year for the purposes of providing conveniently located City services to area citizens. A copy of said lease agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure, is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
