COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 001231

Authorizing the Mayor to enter into an employment agreement between the City of Kansas City, Missouri and Catherine T. Rocha.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an employment agreement between the City of Kansas City, Missouri and Catherine T. Rocha. The employment agreement shall be in substantial form as contained in Exhibit 1, attached hereto. Payments under this agreement shall be made from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 01-100-002-1500.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
