ORDINANCE NO. 001694

 

Amending Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, by adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0330, rezoning an area of approximately 6 acres generally located on the east side of N. Woodland Avenue and 1,400 feet north of N.E. Staley Road and extending approximately 900 feet east of N. Woodland Avenue from District CP-2 (Local Planned Business Center) to District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings). (11659-P-1)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, 1996, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0330, rezoning an area of approximately 6 acres generally located on the east side of N. Woodland Avenue and 1,400 feet north of N.E. Staley Road and extending approximately 900 feet east of N. Woodland Avenue from District CP-2 (Local Planned Business Center) to District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0330. That an area legally described as:

 

All that part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 25, Township 52, Range 33, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, being described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Northeast Quarter; thence North 0o4259 East, along the West line of said Northeast Quarter, 1347.92 feet to the True Point of Beginning of the tract to be herein described; thence continuing North 0o4259 East, along said West line, 242.48 feet; thence South 89o1701 East, 676.84 feet; thence South 35o5605 East, 396.72 feet; thence South 0o0000 East, 142.00 feet; thence North 89o1701 West, 85.10 feet; thence Northwesterly, along a curve to the right, tangent to the last described course, a radius of 350.00 feet, an arc distance of 210.21 feet; thence North 54o5219 West, 171.98 feet; thence Westerly, along a curve to the left, tangent to the last described course, having a radius of 340.00 feet, an arc distance of 204.14 feet; thence North 89o1624 West, 298.58 feet to the True Point of Beginning. Containing 5.98 acres, more or less.

 

is hereby rezoned from District CP-2 (Local Planned Business Center) to District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0330, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
