Authorizing execution of a Personal Services Contract with Lisa K. Sturgeon for the provision of providing management coordinator services for the Central Business Corridor fixed-guideway transit study for a period of twenty-one weeks for $17,716.00 plus $1,356.00 in FICA payments.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of the Department of City Development is hereby authorized to execute a Personal Services Contract with Lisa K. Sturgeon, in the amount of $17,716.00 plus $1,356.00 in FICA payments, for a period of twenty-one (21) weeks, for management coordinator services for the Central Business Corridor fixed-guideway transit study to be paid from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 00-208-064-2040-B, Economic Development Project. A copy of the Personal Services Contract, in substantial form, is attached hereto and is hereby approved.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
