RESOLUTION NO. 070189

Expressing the intent of the City Council to fill the judicial vacancy in Division 205 on or before March 2, 2007.

WHEREAS, the Municipal Judicial Nominating Commission has provided the Council a panel of three nominees for appointment as the judge to fill the vacancy in Division 205; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Council hereby declares its decision to fill, at this time, the current Municipal Court judge vacancy in Division 205 of the Kansas City Municipal Court Division left vacant by the retirement of Municipal Court Judge Marcia K. Walsh on or before March 2, 2007.
