COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 961483

 

Reducing the appropriation in a 5th District Local Use Tax Account by $2,500.00; appropriating it to an account in the General Fund for an anti-smoking project; designating requisitioning authority; authorizing and approving a $2,500.00 contract with the 49/63 Neighborhood Coalition for the "Put Down the Pipe" program.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the appropriation in the following account of the General Fund is reduced by the following amount:

 

96-100-089-6515 PIAC Projects CD5 $2,500.00

 

Section 2. That the sum of $2,500.00 is appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund to the following account of the General Fund:

 

97-100-057-2008 LUT5 Anti-smoking Project $2,500.00

 

Section 3. That the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services is designated requisitioning authority for Account No. 97-100-057-2008.

 

Section 4. That the Director of Neighborhood and Community is authorized to execute a contract with 49/63 Neighborhood Coalition for the "Put Down the Pipe" anti-smoking project.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
