Authorizing an Interim Concession and Lease Premises Agreement with DFC Enterprises, Inc. d/b/a Payless Car Rental, Inc. at the Kansas City International Airport.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to enter into an Interim Concession and Lease Premises Agreement with Payless Car Rental, Inc. for the operation of automobile rental services at the Kansas City International Airport with the term beginning June 1, 2005 and ending on either the Date of Beneficial Occupancy of the Consolidated Rental Car Facility or June 30, 2007, whichever is earlier. A copy of the agreement is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.

Section 2. Additional revenue in the sum of $1,973.00 is hereby estimated in the following account of the KCI Airports Fund, No. 8300:

07-8300-620000-470650 Ground Rent $ 1,973.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
