Authorizing contracts for a total amount of $672,069.00 with Guadalupe Center, KCMC Child Development Corporation, Kansas City, Missouri School District, Operation Breakthrough, Inc., United Inner City Services, Inc., and The Childrens Place for child care services.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services Department is hereby authorized to execute contracts with the following agencies in their respective amounts for child care services from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 00-100-057-2060-B. The contracts are approved, in substantial form, as that on file with the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services:

Guadalupe Center $ 97,547.00

KCMC Child Development Corporation 235,000.00

Kansas City, Missouri School District 86,000.00

Operation Breakthrough, Inc. 135,850.00

United Inner City Services, Inc. 97,672.00

The Childrens Place 20,000.00

TOTAL $672,069.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
