ORDINANCE NO. 900796

 

Authorizing a contract in the amount of $91,977.00 with Radmacher Brothers Excavating, a partnership, for construction of a drainage improvement in the vicinity of 800 W. 122nd Terrace.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the work of constructing approximately 335 cubic yards of rock gabions and 83 linear feet seed and erosion mat in the vicinity of the 800 block of West 122nd Terrace in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, Project No. 3199, Council District 6, is hereby provided for and authorized.

 

Section 2. That the work shall be done in accordance with the plans, specifications and the contract therefore between Kansas City, Missouri, through its Director of Public Works, and Radmacher Brothers Excavating, a partnership, in the amount of $91,977.00, which contract is hereby approved and confirmed. A copy of the said contract is on file in the office of the Director of Public Works and is incorporated herein by reference.

 

Section 3. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $117,000.00 from funds heretofore appropriated to Account No. 9-40516-T as and for consideration in the aforesaid contract and for contingencies and engineering associated therewith.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
