ORDINANCE NO. 090021

 

Reducing the Contingent Appropriation in the General Fund by $875,670.00; and appropriating $875,670.00 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund to the Solid Waste Apartment Rebate program.

 

Whereas, the City desires to fund the apartment rebate program from November 1, 2008 to April 30, 2009 in the manner provided by Sections 62-42 through 62-44, Code of Ordinances; NOW, THEREFORE,

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the appropriation in the following account of the General Fund is reduced in the following amount:

 

09-1000-179990-B Contingent Appropriation  $875,670.00

 

Section 2. That $875,670.00 is appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund to the following account in the General Fund:

 

09-1000-892322-B Apartment Rebate Program $875,670.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
