ORDINANCE NO. 900847

 

Appropriating monies for the One Percent for Arts Program in the amount of $499,682.00 from airport construction projects and $122,000.00 from the Bartle Hall Expansion.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the sum of $499,682.00 is hereby appropriated from the Fund Balance of the 1987 International Airport Construction Fund, Account No. 353-810, to the following account in the 1987 International Airport Construction Fund:

 

353-00031P Art and Aesthetic Adornment $499,682.00 Program

 

Section 2. That the Director of Aviation is hereby designated as the requisitioning authority for Account No. 353-00031.

 

Section 3. That the appropriation in the following account of the KCMAC Leasehold Refunding and Bartle Hall Improvement Fund 1990 is hereby reduced by the following amount:

 

685-40522T Bartle Hall Expansion $122,000.00 Construction

 

Section 4. That the sum of $122,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the KCMAC Leasehold Refunding and Bartle Hall Improvement Fund 1990, Account No. 685-801, to the following account:

 

685-40523T Bartle Hall Expansion - $122,000.00 Public Art

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
