ORDINANCE NO. 940615

Authorizing the Director of Public Works to enter into an agreement with Kansas City Power and Light Company for the relocation of electrical facilities in the area of the Wornall Road widening project from 101st to 103rd Street, and to expend $71,235.00 therefor.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into and execute on behalf of the City, an agreement between Kansas City Power and Light Company, a Missouri corporation of the State of Missouri, relating to the relocation of facilities for the Wornall Road widening from 101st to 103rd Street, Council District 4, Project No. 1215. The agreement shall be essentially in the form which is attached and incorporated herein by reference.

Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $71,235.00 from funds heretofore appropriated to Account No. 95-309-089-7401-T as and for consideration in the aforesaid agreement.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
