ORDINANCE NO. 911157

 

Accepting a Missouri Warranty Deed from Ruskin Heights Associates, a Missouri General Partnership, conveying to the City property generally located at 6921 E. 111th Street in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri for public use purposes for the Red Bridge Road Improvement Project.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That a Missouri Warranty Deed recorded in the Office of the Director of Records for Jackson County, Missouri at Kansas City as Instrument No. K982716 in Book 2148 at Page 1534 conveying from Ruskin Heights Associates, a Missouri General Partnership, to the City of Kansas City, Missouri property generally located at 6921 E. 111th Street in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, and more specifically described as:

 

A part of Lot 1098-A, resurvey of Lot 1098, 1099, and 1100, Ruskin Heights, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows: beginning at the northwest corner of said Lot 1098-A; thence south 85 30'53" east, along the northerly line of said Lot 1098-A, 312.87 feet; thence south 70 59'25" west, 188.56 feet; thence north 89 42'55" west, 90.55 feet, thence north 83 22'30" west, 56.59 feet to a point on the westerly line of said Lot 1098-A; thence north 9 27'07" east, along the westerly line of said Lot 1098-A, said line also being the easterly right-of-way line of Kansas City Southern Railroad, 79.99 feet to the point of beginning containing 17,878.915 square feet or 0.4104 acres more or less.

 

is hereby accepted by the City for public use purposes.

 

Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a copy of this Ordinance to be filed for record in the Office of the Director of Records for Jackson County, Missouri, at Kansas City as evidence of the acceptance of the herein described deed for public use purposes.
