Accepting and approving a one year $97,836.00 agreement with the Missouri Family Health Council, Inc., to provide contraceptive services to low income women of childbearing age in Kansas City, Missouri and decreasing revenue and appropriation accounts by $2,177.00.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That an agreement between Kansas City, Missouri Health Department, acting through its Director of Health, and the Missouri Family Health Council, Inc., acting through its Executive Director, whereby the Health Department's Family Planning Program will provide equality contraceptive services to low income women of childbearing age in Kansas City, Missouri for the period of April 1, 1996 through March 31, 1997, for which the Missouri Family Health Council will provide funding in the amount of $97,836.00, is hereby accepted and approved. A copy of the agreement, in substantial form, is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

Section 2. That the following revenue account of the General Fund is hereby decreased in the following amount:

97-100-050-7962 97 MFHC Family Planning $2,177.00

Section 3. That the following appropriation account of the General Fund is hereby decreased in the following amount:

97-100-050-2115-A Women's Health Services $2,177.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
