ORDINANCE NO. 961313

 

Approving an amendment to a previously approved development plan in District PD/R-5 (Planned Development/High Apartments) on approximately a 12 acre tract of land generally located south of 23rd Street between Gillham Road and Holmes Street (2401 Gillham Road). (5688-PD-6)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That an amendment to a previously approved development plan in District PD/R-5 (Planned Development/High Apartments) on approximately a 12 acre tract of land generally located south of 23rd Street between Gillham Road and Holmes Street (2401 Gillham Road), and more specifically described as follows:

 

All of Lots 1 and 2, Children's Mercy Hospital, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

 

is hereby approved, subject to the following conditions:

 

1. That the developer install pedestrian lighting with all walks and sidewalks.

 

2. That the developer submit a landscaping plan and a maintenance plan for review and approval by the Director of the Department of City Development.

 

3. That the developer remove all trailers currently within the parking lot upon the completion of Phase I.

 

4. That the developer provide adequate sight distances for driveways onto Holmes Road.

 

5. That the developer abandon existing water mains and fire hydrants and relocate such mains and fire hydrants as required by the Water Services Department.

 

6. That the developer receive the approval of the City for the encroachment for the proposed sign on the parkway.

 

A copy of said amendment is on file in the office of the City Clerk under Document No. 961313, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
