RESOLUTION NO. 160492

Approving the appointment of Pat Klein to the Kansas City International Airport Community Improvement District Board of Directors.

WHEREAS, the Kansas City International Airport Community Improvement District was established by the City Council of Kansas City, Missouri; and

WHEREAS, members of the Board of Directors are appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the City Council; and

WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Board of Directors following the retirement of Mark VanLoh as the City’s Director of Aviation; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the City Council hereby consents to the appointment by the Mayor of the following individual as a representative of the City and of business owners operating within the district to serve on the Board of Directors of the Kansas City International Airport Community Improvement District for the terms indicated or until a successor is appointed:

Pat Klein, to serve the balance of a current term expiring on May 31, 2017, and who shall thereafter be deemed reappointed to a new term expiring May 31, 2021.
