ORDINANCE NO. 980833

Authorizing the Director of Environmental Management to enter into a $75,900.00 agreement with Global Action Plan for Year II of the Kansas City Sustainable Lifestyle Campaign and the expenditure of previously appropriated funds therefor.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Environmental Management is hereby authorized, on behalf of the City, to enter into an agreement with Global Action Plan for Year II of the Kansas City Sustainable Lifestyle Campaign, and the terms, conditions, privileges and obligations as set forth in the agreement, a copy of which is on file with the City Clerk, are hereby approved.

Section 2. That the Director of Environmental Management is hereby authorized to expend an amount not to exceed $75,900.00 for the first year of the initial one-year term of the agreement from funds heretofore appropriated to Account No. 99-100-085-1450-B Year II - Kansas City Sustainable Lifestyle Campaign.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
