COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 090467

 

Authorizing a $286,000.00 Amendment No. 2 to an agreement with Family Environmental Compliance Services for Project No. 640A7009 - East Village Block 100 and Block 82; authorizing the City Manager to expend $311,000.00 for the agreement; and recognizing an emergency.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the City Manager, is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of the City, Amendment No. 2 in the amount of $286,000.00 with Family Environmental Compliance Services for Design Professional services for Project No.640A7009 - East Village Block 100 and Block 82 - Environmental / Demolition Assessment and Oversight. A copy of the amendment is on file in the Capital Improvements Management Office.

 

Section 2. That the City Manager is authorized to expend the sum of $311,000.00 for the agreement from funds previously appropriated to Account No. AL-3455-648842-611060-B.

Section 3. That this ordinance, relating to the design, repair, maintenance or construction of a public improvement, is recognized as an emergency measure within the provisions of Section 503 of the City Charter and shall take effect in accordance with that section.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
