RESOLUTION NO. 141065

 

Expressing appreciation and that of the people of Kansas City to Regina Glorioso on her retirement after 19 years and 6 months of dedicated service to the people and government of Kansas City in performing a vital service for the government and governed.

 

WHEREAS, Regina Glorioso began her career with the City in 1995, first working as an aide to Councilwoman Aggie Stackhaus; and

 

WHEREAS, Regina then worked for eight years under Mayor Kay Barnes, during which time she was the Mayor’s lead staff for the establishment of 3-1-1; and

 

WHEREAS, Regina worked in the Clerk’s office and then finished her career at the Water Services Department; and

 

WHEREAS, Regina has in each job provided exemplary customer service to resolve issues and create good will in the community.

 

WHEREAS, Regina and her skills have been applied towards the formation of 311 and has been a leader in promoting accountability in City operations by tracking and analyzing requests for service; and

 

WHEREAS, Regina can always be counted on to share a good story and her infectious laughter with friends and family; and

 

WHEREAS, Regina looks forward to spending quality time with her husband Steve, especially in Mexico, and; and

 

WHEREAS, December 31, 2014, will mark the last day of Regina’s career with the City of Kansas City, Missouri; NOW, THEREFORE,

 

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY;

 

That the Mayor and Council hereby extend to Regina Glorioso, on the occasion of her retirement from City service, the heartiest best wishes for her future, together with appreciation for her total of 19 years and 6 months of dedicated and devoted service to the citizens of the City of Kansas City, Missouri; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution be spread upon the Minutes of the Council in testimony thereof and that a copy hereof be presented to Regina Glorioso in token of the Mayor and Council’s respect and high regard and their best wishes for a long and happy retirement.
