Approving Pipeline Supplementary Workforce Change Order No. 1 with Beemer Construction Company, Inc.; and authorizing the Director of Water Services to expend approximately $378,000.00.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Water Services Department is authorized to execute, on behalf of Kansas City, a $377,567.02 Change Order No. 1 to Contract No. 8776, Pipeline Supplementary Workforce. A copy of the change order is on file in the office of the Director of Water Services.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Water Services is authorized to expend $377,567.02 for the project from Account No. 13-8010-802010-B, Div of Dist-Pipeline.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
