ORDINANCE NO. 071257

 

Reducing an appropriation for the City Development Department by $111,352.00 and appropriating $111,352.00 to the Neighborhood and Community Development Department for contracting with Operation Breakthrough for the provision of day care services.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the appropriation in the following account of the City Development Department is hereby reduced by the following amount:

 

08-1000-642356-B Contracts with Non-Municipal Agencies $111,352.00

 

Section 2. That the following amount is appropriated into the account of Neighborhood and Community Services Department:

 

08-1000-572000-B Contracts with Non-Municipal Agencies $111,352.00

 

Section 3. That the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services is hereby authorized to execute a contract for $111,352.00 with Operation Breakthrough for the provision of day care services from funds appropriated by this ordinance.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
