ORDINANCE NO. 900825

Authorizing a cooperative agreement with the federal government for housing prisoners at MCI and directing the filing of said agreement with appropriate offices.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services is authorized, on behalf of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, to enter into a cooperative agreement with the United States, through the United States Department of Justice, Bureau of Prisons, for housing federal prisoners at the Municipal Correctional Institution, which agreement is hereby approved in substantial form as that attached hereto.

Section 2. That the Director of Records is directed to file a copy of said agreement with the offices of the Secretary of State and the Recorder of Deeds of Jackson County, as required by Section 70.300, RSMo. 1986.
