ORDINANCE NO. 140545

 

Authorizing the Director of Water Services Department to enter into a fourth and final renewal contract with Ace Pipe Cleaning, Inc. for sludge hauling services for various Water Services Department facilities; and authorizing the expenditure of approximately $390,000.00.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Water Services is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of Kansas City, Contract No. 1148, Project No. 61000074, which is the fourth and final renewal, with Ace Pipe Cleaning, Inc., for sludge hauling services for various Water Services Department facilities located in Cass, Clay, Jackson, and Platte Counties. A copy of the contract is on file with the Director of Water Services.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Water Services is authorized to expend up to the sum of $388,181.04, from Account No. 15-8110-802140-B, Wastewater Trmt-Oper, to satisfy the cost of this contract.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
