ORDINANCE NO. 931261

Estimating revenue in the amount of $1,071,000.00 in Account No. 294-055-7688; appropriating the sum of $1,071,000.00 to Account No. 294-055-2129B; designating requisitioning authority; and authorizing a $1,071,000.00 contract with the Rehabilitation Loan Corporation for the purpose of administering the Supplemental Flood HOME Program.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the revenue in the following account of the HOME Investment Fund is hereby estimated in the following amount:

294-055-7688 HOME Investment Grant Flood $1,071,000.00 Relief

Section 2. That the sum of $1,071,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the HOME Investment Fund to the following account in said fund:

294-055-2129B Rehabilitation Loan Corporation- $1,071,000.00 Flood Relief

Section 3. That the Director of the Department of Housing and Community Development is hereby designated requisitioning authority for Account No. 294-055-2129B.

Section 4. That the Director of the Department of Housing and Community Development is hereby authorized to execute a contract with the Rehabilitation Loan Corporation, in the amount of $1,071,000.00, for the purpose of administering the Supplemental Flood HOME Program to be paid from funds herein appropriated to Account No. 294-055-2129B, Rehabilitation Loan Corporation-Flood Relief. A copy of the contract, in substantial form, is attached hereto and hereby approved.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
