ORDINANCE NO. 980293

 

Authorizing a $1,759.60 Ninety-Third Supplemental Federal Aid Urban Program Agreement with the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission for underwater bridge inspection on Kansas City Off System Bridges and authorizing the Director of Public Works to expend $1,759.60 in previously appropriated funds for the project.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into and execute, on behalf of the City, a Ninety-Third Supplemental Federal Aid Urban Program Agreement between the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission and the City of Kansas City, a municipal corporation of the State of Missouri, relating to the underwater bridge inspection on Kansas City Off System Bridges, in Kansas City, Missouri, Project No. 5421. The agreement shall be essentially in the form which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $1,759.60 from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 98-209-089-7702-T as and for consideration in the aforesaid agreement.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
