ORDINANCE NO. 940194

 

Authorizing the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services to accept a $14,040.00 grant from the North Shore Animal League; reestimating revenue in Account No. 100-057-8268; and appropriating $14,040.00 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund to Account No. 100-057-2600-B.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services is hereby authorized to accept a $14,040.00 pet adoption advertising grant from the North Shore Animal League for the period of January 1, 1994 through March 31, 1994.

 

Section 2. That the revenue in the following account of the General Fund is hereby reestimated in the following additional amount:

 

100-057-8268 North Shore Animal League Grant $14,040.00

 

Section 3. That the sum of $14,040.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund to the following account in the General Fund for the total grant amount of $41,480.00:

 

100-057-2600-B Animal Control $14,040.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
