Amending
Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, by adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0461,
rezoning an area of approximately 90 acres generally located on the north side
of N.E. 104th Street (formerly known as Old Gas House Road), approximately one
mile east of N.E. LP Cookingham Drive (Missouri Route 291) from District RA
(Agricultural) to District R-1aa (One-Family Dwellings, Low Density).

IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section
A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri,
commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new
section to be known as Section 80-11A0461, rezoning an area of approximately 90
acres generally located on the north side of N.E. 104th Street (formerly known
as Old Gas House Road), approximately one mile east of N.E. LP Cookingham Drive
(Missouri Route 291) from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1aa
(One-Family Dwellings, Low Density), said section to read as follows:
Section
80-11A0461. That an area legally described as:
All that part of the Southeast Quarter and all
that part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 25, Township 52, Range 32, Kansas
City, Clay County, Missouri, being described as follows: Beginning at the
northeast corner of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 25; thence South 89E45'06" East, along the north line of
said Southeast Quarter, 538.91 feet to a point 950.00 feet east of the
northeast corner of the west 90 acres of said Southeast Quarter; thence South 0E31'22" West, parallel with the east
line of said west 90 acres, 800.00 feet; thence North 89E45'06" West, parallel with the north
line of said Southeast Quarter, 538.91 feet to a point on the east line of the
Southwest Quarter of said Section 25; thence South 0E31'22 West, along said east line, 1829.69
feet to the southeast corner of said Southwest Quarter; thence North 89E26'39" West, along the south line of
said Southwest Quarter, 1321.82 feet to the southwest corner of the east
one-half of said Southwest Quarter; thence North 0E32'09" East, along the west line of
said east one-half 2623.42 feet to the northwest corner of said east one-half;
thence South 89E42'56" East along
the north line of said Southwest Quarter, 1321.23 feet to the point of
beginning. Containing 89.58 acres, more or less. Except that part on the
south being used for road right-of-way.

hereby rezoned from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1aa (One-Family
Dwellings, Low Density), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section
80-11A0461, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is
hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part
of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.
Section
B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the
proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the
Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
