ORDINANCE NO. 140527

 

Authorizing a $545,264.00 increase to the contingency to the Rehabilitate Taxiways – Phase 3 project at the Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the contingency of the Ideker, Inc., contract for Project No. 62130421 – Rehabilitate Taxiways – Phase 3 is increased in the amount of $545,264.00 for additional construction services from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 15-8300-627270-B.

 

Section 2. That this ordinance relates to a public improvement to be paid for wholly or in part by federal funds, and is recognized as an ordinance with an accelerated effective date as provided by Section 503(a)(3)(D) of the City Charter and shall take effect in accordance with Section 503 of the City Charter.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
