ORDINANCE NO. 031067

 

Amending Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, by adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0516, rezoning an area of approximately 5.9 acres generally located on both sides of N. Flora Avenue, extended north of Missouri Route 152, from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwelling, Medium Density). (13012-P)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0516, rezoning an area of approximately 5.9 acres generally located on both sides of N. Flora Avenue, extended north of Missouri Route 152, from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwelling, Medium Density), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0516. That an area legally described as:

 

All that part of the West Half of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 1, Township 51, Range 33, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, described as follows: Commencing at the northeast corner of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 1; thence North 87E41'10" West along the north line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 1, a distance of 661.93 feet to the northeast corner of the West One-Half of Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 1, said point being the point of beginning of the tract of land herein to be described; thence South 00E45'56" West along the east line of the West-Half of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 1, a distance of 424.59 feet to the north right of way line of Missouri State Highway No. 152; thence North 81E49'53" West along the north right of way line of Missouri State Highway No. 152, a distance of 159.07 feet; thence North 84E13'40" West along the north right of way line of Missouri State Highway No. 152, a distance of 362.66 feet; thence North 67E15'07" West along the north right of way line of Missouri State Highway No. 152, a distance of 152.85 feet to the west line of the West-Half of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 1; thence North 00E36'38" East along the west line of the West-Half of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 1, a distance of 333.11 feet to northwest corner of the West One-Half of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 1; thence South 87E41'10" East along the north line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 1, also being the south line of Willow Brooke 7th Plat and Willow Brooke 9th Plat, both subdivisions of land in the City of Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, a distance of 661.93 feet to the point of beginning. Said tract of land contains 5.98 acres, more or less.

 

is hereby rezoned from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwelling, Medium Density), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0516, which is attached hereto and


made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
