Approving a $12,000.00 contract with Good News 2000, Inc., to host the Annual Consultation of the Congress of National Black Churches from the Neighborhood Tourist Development Fund.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services is authorized to execute a $12,000.00 contract with Good News 2000, Inc., to host the Annual Consultation of the Congress of National Black Churches from funds previously appropriated in the Neighborhood Tourist Development Fund to Account No. 01-235-067-2100-B, which contract is hereby approved in substantial form as that on file in the Department of Neighborhood and Community Services.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
