ORDINANCE NO. 940561

Accepting a Personal Representative's Deed and Quit Claim Deed from Michal S. Hughes, personal representative of the Estate of Leonard S. Hughes, deceased, conveying to the City certain lands in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, and directing the City Clerk to record the acceptance.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Personal Representative's Deed and Quit Claim Deed from Michal S. Hughes, conveying to the City land generally known as 1008 Locust and more specifically described as: The south 24 feet of Lot 6, Block 2, SMART'S SECOND ADDITION, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri and recorded in the Office of the Director of Records for Jackson County, Missouri at Kansas City as Instrument Nos. K1092241 and K1092240 in Book 2424 at pages 1918-1920, is hereby accepted for public use purposes.

Section 2. That upon the effective date of this Ordinance, the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a copy hereof to be recorded in the Office of the Director of Records for Jackson County, Missouri at Kansas City, as evidence of the acceptance of the deeds described herein which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, by Kansas City for public use purposes.
