Amending Chapter 65, Revised Ordinances of Kansas City,
Missouri, 1956, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, by adding a new section
to be known as Section 65.010A2651, rezoning an area of approximately 10 acres
generally located on the east side of Interstate 29, at approximately N.W.
79th Street, from District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings) to District R-1b
(One-Family Dwellings). (9009-P-14)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section A. That Chapter 65, Revised Ordinances of
Kansas City, Missouri, 1956, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby
amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 65.010A2651, rezoning
an area of approximately 10 acres generally located on the east side of
Interstate 29, at approximately N.W. 79th Street, from District R-1a
(One-Family Dwellings) to District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings), said section to
read as follows:
Section 65.010A2651. That an area legally described
as:
All that part of the Northwest Quarter of Section
18, Township 51, Range 33, Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri, being
bounded and described as follows: Commencing at the northwest corner of
said Northwest Quarter; thence South 00 27'49" West, along the west
line of said Northwest Quarter, 140.70 feet; thence South 89 10'06"
East, 260.82 feet to a point on the easterly right of way line of Interstate
Route I-29, as now established; thence South 00 22'07" West along
said easterly line, 60.14 feet to the true point of beginning of the tract
to be herein described; thence South 89 10'06" East, 250.00 feet;
thence South 00 22'08" West, 87.00 feet; thence South 61 22'42"
East, 328.30 feet; thence South 13 06'04" East, 551.94 feet; thence
South 70 35'36" West, 541.45 feet to a point on the easterly line of
the aforementioned Interstate Route I-29; thence northerly along said
easterly line, along a curve to the right, having an initial tangent
bearing of North 19 24'26" West, a radius of 2682.79 feet, an arc
distance of 926.13 feet; thence North 00 22'07" East, along said
easterly line, 56.53 feet to the true point of beginning. Containing
10.00 acres, more or less.
is hereby rezoned from District R-1a (One-Family
Dwellings) to District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a
map marked Section 65.010A2651, which is attached hereto and made a part
hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning
maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 65.010
thereof.
Section B. That the Council finds and declares that
before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public
notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
