Estimating revenue, reducing appropriations and
appropriating funds in the KCMAC Bartle Hall Leasehold Improvement Fund;
transferring funds to the Convention and Sports Complex Fund and appropriating
funds for debt service; estimating revenue, reducing appropriations and
appropriating funds in the Convention and Tourism Fund to pay for expenses;
estimating revenue in the KCMAC Bartle Hall Leasehold Improvement Fund in the
amount of $545,701.00; appropriating $6,059,303.00 from the KCMAC Bartle Hall
Leasehold Improvement Fund to the Convention and Sports Complex Fund;
appropriating $2,669,115.00 from the Convention and Sports Complex Fund to the
Convention and Tourism Fund and to the Bartle Hall Expansion; reestimating the
revenue in the Convention and Tourism Fund in the amount of $1,389,281.00
Transfer from the Convention and Sports Complex Fund; appropriating
$1,389,281.00 from the Convention and Tourism Fund to the account for state
assistance; and recognizing an emergency.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That the revenue in the following
account of the KCMAC Bartle Hall Leasehold Improvement Fund 1991 is hereby
reestimated in the following additional amount:
686-039701 Interest on Investments Held by $
545,701.00 Trustee
Section 2. That the appropriation in the following
account of the KCMAC Bartle Hall Leasehold Improvement Fund 1991 is hereby
reduced by the following amount:
686-95617G Capitalized Interest for Debt
$5,513,602.00 Service
Section 3. That the sum of $6,059,303.00 is hereby
appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the KCMAC Bartle Hall
Leasehold Improvement Fund 1991, Account No. 686-801, to the following account:
686-95831B Transfer to Convention and
$6,059,303.00 Sports Complex Fund
Section 4. That the revenue in the following
account of the Convention and Sports Complex Fund is hereby estimated in the
following amount:

Section 5. That the sum of $2,669,115.00 is hereby
appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Convention and Sports
Complex Fund, Account No. 037-801, to the following accounts:

Section 6. That the revenue in the following
account of the Convention and Tourism Fund is hereby reestimated in the

Section 7. That the following account of the
Convention and Tourism Fund is hereby reduced by the following amount:

Section 8. That the sum of $1,389,281.00 is hereby
appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Convention and Tourism
Fund, Account No. 036-801, to the following account:
036-83206A State Assistance $1,389,281.00
Section 9. That the Director of Finance is
authorized to transfer expenditures in Account No. 036-83200A Convention Center
to Account No. 036-83206A State Assistance.
Section 10. That the Director of Finance is hereby
designated requisitioning authority for Account No. 686-95831.
Section 11. That this ordinance, making an
appropriation for the current expense of the City government, is recognized as
an emergency measure within the provisions of Section 15, Article II of the
Charter of Kansas City, and shall take effect immediately upon passage.
