Estimating revenue and
appropriating $299,730.00 in the Police Grants Fund for the 2012 Foot Patrol
Project for police overtime and to partner with the University of
Missouri-Kansas City with the objective to impact and evaluate violence in high
crime areas; and designating requisitioning authority.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That
the revenue in the following account in the KCMBU Police Grants Fund is hereby
estimated in the following additional amount:
KCMBU 13-2390-210000- 479992 12
Foot Patrol Project $299,730.00
Section 2. That the
sum of $299,730.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance
of the KCMBU Police Grants Fund to the following account in the KCMBU Police
Grants Fund:
KCMBU 13-2390-129996-X Transfer to KCPDU
$299,730.00
Section 3. That
the revenue in the following account in the KCPDU Police Grants Fund is hereby
estimated in the following additional amount:
KCPDU
13-2390-210000-599900 Transfer from KC Primary Government $299,730.00
Section 4. That the
sum of $299,730.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance
of the KCPDU Police Grants Fund to the following accounts in the KCPDU Police
Grants Fund:

13-2390-213034-A 12 Foot Patrol Project $168,505.00
KCPDU
13-2390-213034-B 12 Foot Patrol Project
131,225.00
TOTAL $299,730.00
Section 5. That the
Board of Police Commissioners is designated as requisitioning authority for
Account No. KCPDU-13-2390-213034.
