ORDINANCE NO. 951398
Authorizing an amendment to the current contract between
the City and Swope Parkway Health Center, funded from Account No.
96-100-050-2421-B and previously approved by Ordinance No. 950922, whereby the
contract amount will be increased by $9,500.00 to $47,500.00.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That the Director of Health is
authorized to amend the current contract funded from Account No.
96-100-050-2421-B and previously approved by Ordinance No. 950922, between the
City, acting through its Director of Health, and the Swope Parkway Health
Center, acting through its Executive Director, whereby the Swope Parkway Health
Center will provide case management and care coordination services to HIV/AIDS
positive clients, whereby the initial contract amount is hereby increased by
$9,500.00 from $38,000.00 to $47,500.00. A copy of the contract is attached
hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise
unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing
expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in
the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each
sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
