ORDINANCE NO. 900800

 

Authorizing a $14,449.00 utility agreement with the State of Missouri, Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission, for construction of concrete encasement for future waterline installation, Route T, Platte County; and authorizing expenditure of funding therefor.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Water and Pollution Control is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of City, a $14,449.00 utility agreement with the State of Missouri, Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission, for construction of concrete encasement for future waterline installation, Route T, Platte County, Missouri.

 

Section 2. That the Director is further authorized to expend up to the sum of $14,449.00 from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 801-80916-T to satisfy the cost of this utility agreement.

 

Section 3. That pursuant to R.S.Mo. Section 70.300, the City Clerk is directed to file copies of this ordinance and agreement with the Recorder of Deeds of Platte County and the Missouri Secretary of State.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
