COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 130300

 

Authorizing the Director of the Convention and Entertainment Facilities Department to enter into a two year agreement with the Kansas City Convention and Visitors Association (CVA) of Greater Kansas City, Inc., to provide services for the promotion of conventions and tourism business in the City for Fiscal Year 2013-14 and Fiscal Year 2014-15 with a one-year option to renew with City Council approval based upon CVA’s ability to meet performance measures.

 

  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Convention and Entertainment Facilities Department is hereby authorized to enter a two-year agreement with the Kansas City Convention and Visitors Association (CVA) to provide services for the promotion of conventions and tourism business in the City for Fiscal Year 2013-14 and Fiscal Year 2014-15 with a one-year option to renew with City Council approval based upon CVA’s ability to meet performance measures.
