ORDINANCE NO. 160130

 

Authorizing traffic signal modifications; estimating revenue in the amount of $490,000.00 in the Capital Improvements Fund; appropriating that amount to the Barry Road Interconnect account; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the work for traffic signal safety modification, Project No. 89004748, Barry Road Interconnect- 3307 (424), is provided for and authorized.

 

Section 2. That the revenue in the following account of the Capital Improvements Fund is estimated in the following amount:

 

16-3090-890001-474630-89004748 Barry Road Interconnect $490,000.00

 

Section 3. That the sum of $490,000.00 is appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Capital Improvements Fund to the following account:

 

16-3090-897731-B-89004748 Barry Road Interconnect $490,000.00

 

Section 4. That the Director of Public Works is designated requisitioning authority for Account No. 16-3090-897731.

 

Section 5. That this ordinance, relating to appropriation of money, is recognized as an ordinance with an accelerated effective date as provided by Section 503(a)(3)(C) of the Charter and shall take effect in accordance with Section 503, City Charter.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
