ORDINANCE NO. 960994

 

Authorizing the Director of the Office of Environmental Management to enter into an agreement with FINEnvironmental Consulting Engineers for a Phase II Environmental Assessment and Corrective Action Plan for former Area Transportation Authority "Off-Site" property at 25th and Campbell Streets and to expend $35,977.00 in previously appropriated funds therefor.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of the Office of Environmental Management is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement, on behalf of the City, with FINEnvironmental Consulting Engineers for a Phase II Environmental Assessment and Corrective Action Plan for the former Area Transportation Authority "Off-Site" property, also known as Longfellow Heights I, near 25th and Campbell Streets and to expend therefor $35,977.00 in previously appropriated funds in Account No. 97-100-064-7312-T. A copy of the agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
