ORDINANCE NO. 010085

 

To establish Sewer Districts 10060, 1062, 10063 and 10064, generally located in the vicinity of 39th street and Blue Ridge Cut-Off, all in Sewer Division 10, Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. Sewer District 10060, in Sewer Division 10, Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, is hereby established, the boundary lines of which are described as follows, to-wit:

 

Beginning at the point of intersection of the centerline of 37th Street with the centerline of Windsor Road; thence southeasterly along the centerline of Windsor Road to the point of intersection with the southerly prolongation of the northwest line of Lot 62, Block 5 of Woodland Park subdivision; thence northerly along said prolongation and lot line to the north corner of said Lot 62; thence southeasterly along the northeast lines of Lots 62 through 51 to the southernmost corner of Lot 16 of said subdivision; thence northeasterly along southeast line of said lot and its prolongation to the point of intersection with the centerline of Denton Road; thence southerly along said centerline to the point of intersection with the centerline of 39th Street, said centerline being also the east-west centerline of Section 20, Township 49 North, Range 32 West; thence westerly along said centerline to the point of intersection with the prolongation of the west line of Lot 8, Block 9 of said subdivision; thence northeasterly along said prolongation and the west line of Lots 8 and 24, Block 9 of said subdivision and along the west line of Lots 8 and 15, Block 8 of said subdivision and the prolongation thereof to the centerline of Laurel Avenue; thence northwesterly along said centerline to the point of intersection with the prolongation of the east line of Lot 51, Block 7 of said subdivision; thence northerly along said prolongation and the east line of Lots 51 through 54, Block 7, of said subdivision to the northeast corner of Lot 54; thence northerly along the east line of Lots 55 through 60, Block 7 of said subdivision and along their prolongation to the centerline of 37th Street; thence easterly along said centerline to the point of beginning.

 

Section 2. That Sewer District 10062, in Sewer Division 10, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, is hereby established, the boundary lines of which are described as follows, to-wit:

 

Beginning at the point of intersection of the centerline of Peek Drive with the centerline of 36th Street Terrace; thence easterly along said centerline to the point of intersection with the northerly prolongation of a line 15 feet west of and parallel to the east line of Lot 1 of Renick Homestead subdivision; thence southerly along said parallel line to the north line of Lot 3 in said subdivision; thence easterly along the north line of said Lot 3 to the northeast corner thereof; thence southerly along the east line of said Lot 3 to the north line of Lot 5 in said subdivision; thence easterly along said north line to the east line of said Lot 5; thence southerly along the east line


of said lot and its prolongation to the point of intersection with the centerline of 37th Street; thence westerly along said centerline to the point of intersection with the prolongation of the east line of Lot 60, Block 7 of Woodland Park subdivision; thence southerly along said prolongation and the east line of Lots 60 through 51, Block 7, of said subdivision and the prolongation of the east line of said Lot 51 to the centerline of Laurel Avenue; thence southeasterly along said centerline to the prolongation of the east line of Lot 1, Block 8 in said Woodland Park subdivision; thence southwesterly along said prolongation and along the east lines of Lots 1 through 7 in Block 8 of said subdivision and along the west lines of Lots 24 and 8 in Block 9 of said subdivision and the prolongation thereof to the centerline of the 39th Street, said centerline being also the east-west centerline of Section 20, Township 49 North, Range 32 West; thence westerly along said centerline to the centerline of Blue Ridge Cut-Off; thence northerly along said centerline to the intersection with the prolongation of the north line of Lot 30 of Ashland Ridge subdivision; thence easterly along said prolongation, the north line of said Lot 30, and the easterly prolongation thereof to the centerline of Peek Drive; thence southwesterly along said centerline to the point of beginning.

 

Section 3. That Sewer District 10063, in Sewer Division 10, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, is hereby established, the boundary lines of which are described as follows, to wit:

 

Beginning at the point of intersection of the centerline of Blue Ridge Cut-Off with the Independence city limits line; thence southeasterly along said line to the point of intersection with the east line of Lot 46 in Ashland Ridge, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri; thence southerly along said east line to the southeast corner of said Lot 46; thence easterly along the north line of Lot 38 in said subdivision a distance of 50 feet; thence southerly along a line parallel to the east line of Lot 38 and the prolongation thereof to the point of intersection with the centerline of 36th Street Terrace; thence easterly along said centerline to the point of intersection with the centerline of Oxford Avenue; thence southerly along said centerline to the point of intersection with the north line of Lot 17, Block 2 in Woodland Park subdivision; thence easterly along said north line and along the north lines of Lots 16 and 15 in said subdivision to the northeast corner of said Lot 15; thence southerly along the east line of said Lot 15 to the southeast corner thereof; thence southerly to the northeast corner of Lot 8, Block 3 in said Woodland Park subdivision; thence southerly along the easternmost line of said Lot 8 and its south prolongation to the point of intersection with the northeast right-of-way line of Oxford Avenue; thence southeasterly along said right-of-way line to the intersection with the westerly prolongation of the south line of Lot 3, Block 3 in said subdivision; thence easterly along said prolongation, south line of Lot 3, and its easterly prolongation to the point of intersection with the centerline of Denton Road; thence southerly along said centerline to the point of intersection with the prolongation of north line of Lot 17, Block 5 in said Woodland Park subdivision; thence southwesterly along said prolongation and north line of said Lot 17 to the point of intersection with the northeast line of Lot 51 in said subdivision; thence northwesterly along the northeast lines of Lots 51 through 62 in said subdivision to the northernmost corner of said Lot 62, thence southwesterly along the northwest line of said Lot 62 and its prolongation to the point of intersection with the centerline of Windsor Road; thence northwesterly along said centerline to the point of intersection with the centerline of 37th Street; thence westerly along said centerline to the point of intersection with the southerly prolongation of the east line of Lot 5 in Renick Homestead subdivision; thence northerly along said prolongation and east line of said Lot 5 to the northeast corner of said Lot 5; thence westerly along the north line of said Lot 5 to the southeast corner of Lot 3 of said subdivision; thence northerly along the east line of Lot 3 to the northeast corner of said Lot 3; thence westerly along the north line of said Lot 3 to the intersection with a line 15 feet west of and parallel with the east line of Lot 1 of said subdivision; thence northerly along said line and its prolongation to the intersection with the centerline of 36th Street Terrace; thence westerly along said centerline to the point of intersection with the centerline of Peek Drive; thence northeasterly along said centerline to the intersection with the easterly prolongation of the north line of Lot 30 of said Ashland Ridge subdivision; thence westerly along said prolongation, north line and its westerly prolongation to the point of intersection with the centerline of Blue Ridge Cut-Off; thence northerly along said centerline to the point of beginning.

 

Section 4. That Sewer District 10064, in Sewer Division 10, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, is hereby established, the boundary lines of which are described as follows, to wit:

 

Beginning at the point of intersection of the Independence city limits line with the centerline of Denton Road; thence southerly along said centerline to the point of intersection with the easterly prolongation of the south line of Lot 3, Block 3 in Woodland Park subdivision; thence westerly along said prolongation, south line of said Lot 3, and the westerly prolongation of the south line of said Lot 3 to the point of intersection with the northeast right-of-way line of Oxford Avenue; thence northwesterly along said northeast right-of-way line to the intersection with the southerly prolongation of the east line of Lot 8 in said subdivision; thence northerly along said prolongation and east line of said Lot 8 to the northeast corner thereof; thence northerly to the southeast corner of Lot 15, Block 2 of said subdivision; thence northerly along the east line of said Lot 15 to the northeast corner thereof; thence westerly along the north line of said Lot 15 and along the north lines of Lots 16 and 17 in said subdivision to the point of intersection with the centerline of Oxford Avenue; thence northerly along said centerline to the point of intersection with the centerline of 36th Street Terrace; thence westerly along said centerline to the point of intersection with the southerly prolongation of a line 50 feet east of and parallel with the east line of Lot 37 in Ashland Ridge subdivision; thence northerly along said 50 foot offset line to the point of intersection with the north line of Lot 38 in said subdivision; thence westerly along said north line to the southeast corner of Lot 46 in said Ashland Ridge subdivision; thence northerly along the east line of said lot to the point of intersection with the Independence city limits line; thence southeasterly along said line to the point of beginning.

 

The Sewer Districts herein proposed and this ordinance are recommended for approval and passage this ______ day of __________, 2001.
