Authorizing the Director of City Development to offer for sale property located at 77th Street and Agnes Avenue.

WHEREAS, all City departments have been notified that this property is in excess to the needs of the City and no interest has been expressed in retaining the land for future public use; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

That the Director of City Development is hereby authorized to offer for sale by competitive bids property located at 77th Street and Agnes Avenue, said property more particularly described as follows:

(77th Street and Agnes Avenue West side)

All rights, title and interest in a tract of land located in Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, and 53, of Marlboro Woods Subdivision, Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows: Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 1, said point is also a point on the southerly right of way line of 77^th Street and the westerly right of way line of Agnes Avenue; thence South 02^o1734.82 West, along the east line of Lots 1 and 53, a distance of 286.66 feet to a point on the southeast corner of Lot 53; thence North 86^o4731.62 West, along the south line of said lot, a distance of 30.78 feet to a point; thence North 02^o3733.64 East a distance of 131.79 feet to a point on the north line of said Lot 53; thence North 02^o1743.11 East, a distance of 140.03 feet to a point; thence North 86^o2707.84 West, crossing Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, a distance of 104.43 feet to a point; thence North 02^o1622.11 East a distance of 15.00 feet to a point on the north line of Lot 4, said point is also a point on the southerly right of way line of 77^th Street; thence South 86^o2718.38 East, along the north line of Lots 4, 3, 2 and 1, a distance of 134.44 feet to the point of beginning; containing 10.221 square feet, more or less, of land.
